When I was a child and was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered Power Ranger (I would have preferred black, but I could’ve been yellow too).
Either that or an illustrator.
Time passed, and my dreams of being one of Earth’s defenders were extinguished by the crushing weight of reality; however, my dreams of drawing grew even bigger.
Thanks to my line of work, the possibility of integrating drawing into my professional life became a reality. Today I draw not only to have a roof over my head and a plate of food in my table, but also to make the things I imagine become a reality. Now, those disgusting monsters and heroic knights exist not only in my head but also in the minds of those who are interested in looking at them.
Today I can draw for that child to fulfill his dream, and that makes me happy.

After I was hired at Channext, I asked them why they chose me. They replied that my illustrations set me apart from the other candidates.
They always gave me creative freedom when it came to illustration, especially for everything merch-related, where I could create larger illustrations outside the more corporate environment, making them more playful and fun.
Using a variety of styles, from unorthodox to more corporate, the illustrations for Channext have been incredibly diverse.
This coexistence between the more traditional and classic with the more extreme has led to the creation of interesting and striking pieces that, without breaking the style of the brand, extend and expand it to new places.

Illustration in my life
I can't recall who gave it to me, but I received a little Fisher-Price knight toy. It had red hair, a moustache, and copper-colored armor.
I love that toy.
That small toy, among other influences, planted a seed in me that I continue to nurture to this day. The idea of using such a simple design to captivate someone, to spark an interest, to inspire a new passion, resonated deeply with me.
Over the decades, I've spent thousands of hours consuming various forms of media, continuously nurturing my ideas. Today, I have the ability to bring my thoughts to life graphically. This creates a feedback loop with my imagination, allowing new possibilities to emerge through the exploration of these memories and any new experience I have. Each new creation mixes these memories into a new being, a new concept, a new illustration.
And I think that’s cool.
